Tectonics of Wisdom is the story of historical libraries told through the material events that defined their fate; a new form of reading room calling for a deep transformation of the one thing that cannot be duplicated online: the experienced public space of the library.

In what ways can the physical space of the library be empowered as a radically new contemporary public forum? Can the sensorial and material aspects of the library make us more judicious and clear-sighted, in other words, wiser to address the world’s greatest challenges together?
