At the time when the power of material processes by human civilization compared to that of titanic natural forces -volcanoes, tsunamis, tectonic plates-humans became a geological force. Material speculations on geological craft, transforming the process of construction into a process of experimentation through unorthodox tectonic translations. Geology and technology translated into actions that relate to "material, place, and process"-folding, eroding, laminating, pouring, carving, melting, exploding...

Historical timelines embedded in material prototypes that bear remains of their material narratives and events: from their geological origins -faktur-, to the traces of the processing tools and workmanship -tectur-; from the geographical origin of materials, to the cultural traditions they embody.
